Accessibility Statement

Beyondarts GmbH endeavors to make its WebApps and website and those applications created with the beyondarts CMS accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).

This accessibility statement applies to the WebApps and website https://beyondcom.at and to those WebApps and website and mobile applications that are created with the beyondarts CMS content management system.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

These WebApps and the website are partially compatible with conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web – WCAG 2.1” or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

(a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

There is a lack of sequence adjustments and a clean hierarchical structure of the displayed content to support keyboard navigation and the use of screen readers (concerns WCAG 1.3.1 Information and relationships and WCAG 1.3.2 Meaningful sequence).

The structure and labeling of headings (H1, H2, H3, …) is not implemented correctly (concerns WCAG 1.3.1 Information and relationships and 2.4.6 Headings and labels), which also restricts the use of keyboard navigation and the use of screen readers.

The main and secondary navigation, a coherent and consistent focus display and the correct display order are not implemented correctly, which also restricts keyboard navigation and the use of screen readers (concerns WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard, 2.1.3 Keyboard (no exception), 2.4.3 Focus order, 2.4.6 Headings and labels and 2.4.7 Focus visible). The restrictions mentioned also affect the map display and map navigation.

We plan to take the requirements into account in the next development cycles.
